    The main problem for you is that the colors are horrible and are clashing.
    Try simple signatures first,then you will get the hang of colors.

    Well to remove the color problem I'd say use different layer blending options on the stocks that you add. Linear light and darken only create really horrible colors. Plus don't play with the colors too much. Like in the second sig half of optimus is completely monotone and the rest of the sig has crazy colors. Try to control them more. Fix that and I think these would look pretty decent.

    To start off (people are going to hate me for saying this) you can make a sig B&W, and then add Gradient maps and Selective colour layers to the sig. It will control the colour, and gradually you can work away from it.

    Its a layer setting. Like screen, overlay etc.
